IC-ENC are excited to announce that applications are now open for the IC-ENC Quality & Conversion Training taking place in Asia from 17th - 21st November. This workshop will be delivered in English.
Course Overview:
Provide the knowledge, skills and understanding required to enable ENC Production teams to perform S-57 validation
Familiarisation with the full IC-ENC ENC Validation process from start to finish, including conformance to the relevant IHO Standards and the various software tools used.
Familiarisation with the eGlobe G2 ECDIS. This is in order to encourage ENC Production teams to include the use of an ECDIS as part of their production and validation processes
Implementing IC-ENC Conversion Readiness Checks on S-57 ENCs
Conversion of S-57 to S-101 products
Analysing conversion logs

Experience in the Production of S-57 ENCs and use of relevant standards
Keen interest in developing understanding of principles of S-57 and S-58 Validation Processes
Be able to perform S-57 Validation checks during the production of ENCs through own Hydrographic Office
Understanding of S-100
Keen interest in understanding how conversion practice should be developed

IC-ENC will fund the attendance of the learners, and this will cover the following:
