IC-ENC continues to develop ECD Service

IC-ENC’s Electronic Chart Data (ECD) Service seeks to address the lack of up-to-date navigational data available to vessels not using an ECDIS. Distribution Partners (DPs) will receive selected official, verified ENC data on a periodic basis, transferred in a controlled and secure manner. DPs will then provide and manage proprietary products and services to their end users.

Throughout 2023 and into the start of 2024, we have continued to strengthen the geographical coverage of the IC-ENC ECD Service. We welcomed the inclusion of data from USA, Slovenia, Italy, Romania, Spain, Turkiye and most recently Peru, giving us a current total of 24 participating Members.

The folio will contain all 131 ENCs produced by Peru. These cover the navigational purposes from 2 (General) through to 6 (Berthing).
